Scope of Cover

All components fitted and all labour carried out by Lune Auto Electronics are covered by a Lifetime, unlimited-mileage warranty from the date of purchase for faults arising from manufacturing defects or our workmanship.

This warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

• Shipping, removal, diagnostic, coding, programming or software-download costs.
• Components purchased in error due to mis-diagnosis of the vehicle fault.
• Damage caused by: water or corrosion, fire, over-voltage or jump-starting, another faulty vehicle part, impact, misuse, or installation in an application for which the part was not intended.
• Units opened, modified or repaired by anyone other than Lune Auto Electronics without our written consent.
• Fair wear and tear, negligence or abnormal operating conditions.

Making a Claim

To claim under this warranty you must:

1. Notify us in writing within a reasonable time of discovering the defect.
2. Allow us a reasonable opportunity to examine the component or repair.
3. Return the unit to us, carriage paid, together with a completed warranty-claim form and any supporting information.

After inspection we will, at our discretion, repair, replace or refund the price of the defective component or service.

Limitations of Liability

Except as set out above we are not liable for:

• Labour charges for removal or refitting.
• Indirect or consequential losses, including damage to other vehicle parts, loss of income, hire-car costs or similar expenses.

These exclusions do not affect your statutory rights.

Transfer of Warranty

• Consumers: The warranty is valid for the original purchaser. If the vehicle is sold you must provide a written chain of ownership transferring the benefit of the warranty to the new owner.
• Business customers: The warranty is non-transferable and valid only while you own the vehicle.

General

The Lifetime Warranty is provided at our discretion and may be amended at any time, but any change will not affect claims for work already carried out. In the event of a conflict between this warranty and our full Terms & Conditions, this warranty will take precedence.
