Your Right to Cancel (Consumers)
If you buy as a consumer you have a statutory right to cancel most distance-sales contracts under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- You can cancel your order for goods within 14 days of receiving them.
- If you ordered a service (such as testing/rebuild) you may cancel within 14 days of placing the order, unless we have already started the work with your agreement.
- To cancel, email info@luneautoelectronics.co.uk with your order number and clear instructions.
Returns Process
- Email us first to request a return authorisation.
- Pack the item securely, including your name, order number and a description of the fault or reason for return.
- Send to the address above or use the prepaid label if we provide one.
Please return goods within 14 days of notifying us. You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or we sent it in error.
Refunds
- We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned item or receiving evidence of posting, whichever is sooner.
- Delivery charges are refunded up to our standard shipping cost.
- If the product has been handled beyond what is reasonable to inspect it, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value.
Repair Services & Testing Fees
- Our standard testing fee is £45. If the unit is rebuilt following a successful test, or if it is beyond repair, we waive this fee.
- If no fault is found, the £45 test fee and return shipping remain payable.
Replacement Units
If you purchase a replacement unit and later discover the vehicle fault lies elsewhere, you may return the unit for a refund provided it is returned in full working order and unmodified. If the unit was specially programmed or coded for your vehicle, we deduct the cost of reprogramming or resetting.
Damaged or Faulty Items
Please inspect deliveries on arrival. Report courier damage to us within 48 hours and keep all packaging for inspection. Faulty items are covered by your statutory rights and our Lifetime Warranty.
Business Customers
If you purchase in the course of business, your rights to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations do not apply. Our obligations are limited to those set out in our Terms & Conditions and any express warranty.
